participants from the NGOs working against HIV/AIDS in NWFP. Secretary General
AMA® was elected as Divisional Coordinator for Hazara.

- “Pedigree Analysis of Thalassaemia
Trait in Hazara division” a project jointly executed by AMA, PMRC, Ayub Medical College
and the World Bank. A 7-8% carrier rate was identified for Thalassaemia Trait in
the Hazara division, necessitating further action [unpublished study]
