“Everyday I shall do at least one good deed that will please a fellow human being, without the distinction of class color or creed….I shall do the best that I can to help all people who are old, poor, cripples or in distress" is a part of our School Code of Honour that we used to recite every day at the School’s Assembly. With this spirit and love for our homeland, that Old Boys from one of the most prestigious institutions of the Country, Abbottabad Public School & College, Abbottabad, conceived the idea of forming ‘Abbottonians Medical Association® for Making a Difference! Making a Difference from sickness to health, from pain to relief, from grief to happiness, from poverty to progress. Established in 1990 and working in the field of social welfare, AMA® started a welfare project of a Blood and an Eye Center at Awan Plaza in September 1997, where it is providing free treatment to the poor patients. This Center has facilities of Blood Transfusion, Eye Surgeries and Hi Tech Laboratory Facilities and a Health Education Center.
