What is Thalassemia?

Thalasseamia Major is a genetic blood disease in which the child needs blood transfusion every 2-3 weeks along with other treatment that is very expansive. Parents are silent carriers of this disease and children are usually the sufferers.

About 7-10 % carrier rate has been found in various studies conducted across the country. AMA is providing all possible treatment to these unfortunate children along with counseling and preventive measures to decrease the incidence of this deadly disease.

AMA ZAKAT FUND
