Obituaries

During the past few years AMA suffered tragic loss in the form of sad demise of three of its devoted members.

 Mr. Khurshid Ahmed, one of the founding Members and Chief Organizer of AMA whose selfless contributions towards the welfare activities will never be forgotten. Mr. Khurshid died in a car crash in Dubai in August 1998.

Mr. Waseem Afzal Khan, former D.I.G Kohat, who died of Heart Attack in June 2002... He always supported the cause of the Association and actively participated in its activities, specially when he was posted as SSP Abbottabad

Mr. Omar Asghar Khan, Former Federal Minister and Chief Executive, Sungi Development Foundation was always very appreciative of AMA. During his last visit to AMA’s office on 6th October 2001, he wrote the following comments in the visitors’ book: -

“I am highly impressed by the effort put in by AMA® in setting up the Center for blood diseases for children as well as the Eye clinic. The environment is extremely conducive. One feels proud to be an Abbottonian. AMA® deserves all praise for this marvelous job”

May God bless their souls and give courage to the bereaved families to bear their irreparable loss.
